Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CreditRichie (the “App”), developed and operated by Rishi Dasari, an individual developer. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of the Service

CreditRichie is a personal financial management application that allows users to track credit card balances, statement dates, due dates, and payments, and to optionally link financial accounts through our supported third-party aggregator, Plaid, to automatically populate this information.

The App is currently intended for individual and family use and is provided on an as-is basis by an individual developer, not a registered company.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Registration and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• If multi-factor authentication is enabled for your account, you are responsible for maintaining access to your authentication method (e.g., authenticator app) and any backup codes provided to you.
• You must notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Linking Financial Accounts

If you choose to link a bank or credit card account via a supported third-party aggregator:

• You authorize the App to receive and store account balance, statement, and transaction data made available by that aggregator on your behalf.
• You may unlink a connected account at any time within the App.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or timeliness of data provided by third-party aggregators, and we do not control their systems or uptime.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App’s infrastructure, other users’ accounts, or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App
• Use the App to link financial accounts you are not authorized to access

6. No Financial Advice

The App is a tracking and organizational tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, credit, or legal advice. Any information displayed within the App (balances, due dates, summaries) is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial decisions. You are solely responsible for verifying account information directly with your financial institution and for making your own financial decisions.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to reliance on inaccurate account or balance information, or unauthorized access to your account resulting from your own failure to safeguard your credentials.

9. Account Termination

You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy for details on data deletion). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for any user who violates these Terms.

10. Changes to the Service and These Terms

The App is under active development and its features may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice, consistent with its current stage as a personal/family-use project. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
